The Story of Alima
In 2007, Hochland Germany, a brand with nearly 100 years of experience in the cheese and dairy industry, decided to enter the Middle Eastern market. After extensive research, it chose Iran among Middle Eastern countries and partnered with the Iranian brand Haraz.
That same year, specialized cheese production factories equipped with Hochland Germany’s technology were established in Amol, Iran. Various types of Hochland-branded cheeses were introduced to the Iranian market—cheeses with unique shapes and flavors, quickly becoming popular among cheese lovers. In the following years, ownership of these factories was transferred to Haraz.
Now, after 15 years, Hochland is recognized under the brand name "Alima" in Iran. The range of cheeses produced has expanded to around 30 varieties.
